Who is 13 Axes Axe Throwing Australia?
One of the most common questions we get is, why... why on earth did you think that building an axe throwing and mini golf venue would be a good idea AND, where did the idea come from..

So, here's a little piece of our story, we hope you enjoy!
Our Story
13 Axes in Cleveland on Brisbanes Redlands Coast is a family business that's owned and operated by husband and wife Jason & Sammi, and their daughter Emmy.
Wife, Sammi had surprised Jason one day with a visit to another axe throwing venue and he absolutely loved it!
A few weeks later, Sammi asked Jason if he'd want to go back down to throw some axes, he replied, "Or I could build one in the backyard!"
Not long after, Jason lost his job to Covid, faced with unemployment for the 1st time in his life, he took the opportunity as a chance at something new, and the backyard project was quickly converted into the full venue that you see today.
Built from the ground up with the help of daughter Emmy, and few mates here and there, 13 Axes is a labour of love, every aspect of the venue was carefully considered for creating the perfect venue (in our eyes!)
We wanted to create a safe, friendly and fun place for people to come and just have a good time, and so far we think we've done pretty good!!!!
12 months after opening the Axe House, and given the opportunity to expand, Jason again went to work building a 13 hole indoor mini course in the building next to the Axe House.
Thirteen holes, it goes from easy, medium to hard, it’s just for everybody as long as you’re old enough to pick up a club, you can play mini golf as well.”
12 months after Mini Golf's addition, Jason was just itching to build something again, so we've just added our new Cocktail & Coffee Bar inside of the Axe House, serving a delicious range of 0% alcohol cocktails and fresh barista made coffee!

UPDATE - January 2024 - Our Story has a few updates that we will add at a later date, but just for reference, Our Indoor Mini Golf has CLOSED as of 7th January 2024 to make way for our new attraction - The Smashed Inn Rage Rooms!
